"THe only acouistic guitar." She said and sighed, it had been her favorite guitar...

"Ah.." Shane sighed softly as he looked around, he pulled the Ice pack off his face and put it against it's shoulder. "I don't Care if it helps, I am NOT Holding an Ice pack on my Face when its Cold outside.." he laughed lightly and rubbed his sleeve on it to Try to Dry the Dampness.

Maureen giggled. "It is chilly isn't it...?" She asked slightly just not noticing how cold she actually was. She shivered lightly and sighed and kept walking.

"Yeah.." Shane chuckled, seeing the pond up ahead, and the Very tip of the Case. "Oy.." He said to himself and bit his lip. "Want me to go get it?.." he asked in a low tone.

She nodded slowly."Please..." She said softly.

"k..." Shane replied and ran in a Jog the rest of the way to the pond, slowing down.
He bit his lip and stepped in, "My good shoes.." He murmured to himself and Walked the rest of the way in. By the Time he got to the Guitar he was about up to his waist in water. He grabbed a hold of it and turned around, almost stiff from the Freezing water, He walked the Rest of the Way out ,struggling to pull the Guitar case out, considering it was full of water.

Maureen immediatly felt guilty. "I'm sorry, shouldn't have asked you to get it for me," She said biting her lip and walking over. Looking at the guitar case, her face showed sadness. Her brother had given her this guitar before he went off to war and died. Tears welled in her eyes and she looked away.

Shane bit his lip. "Its fine.. I.. ah.. No offense but isn't it just a Guitar?.." He asked and shook his leg again to shake water off.

Maureen bit her lip hard and didn't look at Shane. "M..my brother..gave it to me..her died in the war." She said in almost a whisper.

"OH! Uhm.. I'm REALLY Sorry.." Shane replied. "I wish there was something I could do.. I Just.-" He staggered, Feeling Bad for her.

"It's fine." She murmured. "Thnaks for getting it for me." She said and looked back at the guitar case, reachnig slowly for it.

"no problem.. Shane replied and sighed softly. "So..I Had better.. go back to my dorm and Change.." He said and loked down, only cause he can't stand seeing people sad.

Maureen nodded. "Kay." SHe said and picked up her guitar, she kneeled down beside it and opened the case pulled the guitar out. "Ruined...." She mumbled nad sighed pouring water out.

"you.. want me to walk you back to your dorm?" Shane asked, again in a Low tone. He felt Really bad for her, But had NO clue how to help..

"Nah..it'sfine." She rejected lightly and looked at the guitar. BIting her lip.

"Alright.." Shane sighed with a slightly Sad tone. "I'll.. uh.. Talk to you later" He said and walked back to the Dorm hallways Entrance, ignoring a Few rude comments towards him about being soaked from the Waist-down.
He walked into the Hall, then to his dorm door. His feet Squeaking louder since his Shoes Were wet, We went into his dorm and flopped on his desk chair.

"Sorry." Maureen murmured softly, then picked up the casse and the guitar, walking back towards the main building, she stopped at the music room and dropped the guitar off with themusic teacher, he said he'd do what he coudl to fix it, she thanked him and left, walking out to the dorm building and up to her dorm, She sighed and flopped onto her bed after entering and shutign her door.

Shane yawned and changed into Dry clothes, looking around his Dorm boredly, he sighed and flopped onto his bed, grabbing his Guitar.
He rest his Arm on the Guitar and looked around his Dorm some more, then he reached for the Pick on his side table and put it against the strings, boredly strumming A Few notes, a few seconds apart. He didn't know why, But he couldn't bring himself to play when he was upset, No matter what.

Maureen stared up at the ceiling, her eyes shut loosely, thinking abotu nothing, her mind blank, her expression a mixture of emosions, she bit her lip and shifted her weight and rolled onto her sdie sighing softly.

Shane got up and put his guitar to the Side. He stood up a and stretched his arms out, reaching for his phone as it Screeched out an obnoxiously loud Ring tone, He meant to Set it like that when his Ex called, So he had a Heads up.
"Hello?" he asked in an Angry voice as he pulled the phone to his ear.
"Sweetie I miss you.." The tiny little prissy voice said coming from the phone.
"Ashley I'm not kidding, Stop calling and Texting me" Shane said in a Low, Still very Angry voice.
"But Can't we just work this out?! I'm miserable without you!!!" Ashley screamed in the phone.
Shane rolled his eyes and hung up, turning off the phone. "My gosh.." he murmured to himself and threw the phone onto his bed, Walking out of his dorm, He slammed the Door shut.

She grimaced at the ring tone and sat up. Still being able to hear it all the way form where she was. She got off her bed and walked to the door, opening it and peeking out, she spotted Shane and saw his angry face. "Whoa...." She mumbled softly and bit her lip leaning on the doorframe and looking around.

Shane scoffed and walked outside, walking straight to a bench outside the Building.
He flopped on the bench and sighed, staring at the ground.

Maureen bit her lip, she shut her door and wandered after him. Walking up tot he bench and sitting down quietly behind him. "Somthing wrong?" She asked softly. Pushing her own problems out of her mind.

"um.. nothing I'm fine." Shane replied and wiped the Angry look off his Face, replacing it with a Just about emotion-less face.

She elbowed him gently."Tell the truth." She said with a cute helpful smile.
