Oak Ridge Academy II

Maureen nodded and smiled brightly. "Sure." She said and jogged towards the gazebo. She scooped up the guitar in her hands once she climbd the small set of stairs then walked out of the gazebo and flopped onto the leaf covered ground. She stared at the cords for a while and got them tuned. "Any particular song?" She asked looking up at him her bangs fallingover her eyes as she waited for a reply.

Shane smiled and jogged after her, sliding to a stop. "Nah, you pick one" He said with a warm smile and leaned on a pole about 3 feet from Maureen.

She thought a while and soon came to a decision. She strummed a few notes then she began to play. She was playing A Thousand iles by Vanessa Carlton. She began to sing also. Staring at the guitar. Her fingers moves swiftly geting each note right.

Shane smiled and nodded lightly, "wow.. she is REALLY good.." he thought to himself.

She finnished the song and gathered her breath looking up at him and smiled. "So. What'd ya think?" She asked looking around and slwoly satnding up and brushing the leaves off of her jeans.

".. That was amazing.." Shane said, waiting a few seconds before speaking, he smiled back at her.

She blushed lightly at his choice of words and looked down at the guitar. "Thanks." She murmured and bit her lip.

"no problem" Shane replied and laughed lightly, looking around, he sighed softly and shifted his gaze his his feet, pushing a few leaves away with his foot.

"Soo. Whats up?" She asked glancing around and looking at the leaves that surrounded them.

"uhm.. I don't know" Shane laughed lightly, "Not much..I guess.."

"Nicee." SHe laugehd gently and smiled. "So..now what?" She aske dmore to herself..

"Dunno.. whens class?" Shane asked and looked at his watch, his eyes widened, "I guess I Should remember when it is." He said to himself and bit his lip.

Maureen stared at him long and hard. She bit her lip to hold back a laugh. "It's sunday." She murmured and bit down harder on her lip and smiled largely as she looked at him her perfectly curved eyebrow arched, she giggled and looked down.

"are you serious?!" Shane said, then turned around and smashed his head on A Support pole a few times, then leaving it resting on the pole. "Ughh..." He moaned, feeling like a complete idiot.

"Whoa. Whoa Whoa, easy." She said rushing over and grabbing his arm. Man he was mixed up in facts..but that still didn't change the fact he was cute, and he certainly didn't look like he was a jerk or anythnig, he looked like the complete opposite. She smiled and looked up at him. "It's ok, you just looked at you calendar wrong." She giggled and withdrew her arm.

Shane laughed lightly and pulled his head off the pole, looking at her. "I Guess.." He sighed, then looked around, "I'd better get going anyways.. " he sighed softly.

"Okay..." Maureen said and shrugged, stepping back, she audjusted the guitar strap over her shoulder. "Well...See ya around." She said quietly and turned walking towards the gazebo. She sat on the right side bench and leaned back pullikng her guitar infrotn of her and staring at the cords yawning. Her stomach growled loudly. She didn't realized how hungry she was till now.

Shane sighed again, "See ya.."He said quietly and stuffed his hands in his pockets, walking down The Stairs.
He walked back to the Entrance of the Dorm hallways, opened the Door, and walked in, his sneakers squeaking on the Flor, he shook his head at himself and walked into his dorm, Grabbing his Guitar from the stand without stopping walking and flopped on his bed with it resting on his chest, staring at the ceiling.

(I think i may have a stomach flew.. *Sobs*)

Maureen yawned and rubbed her stomach lightly. She needed food pronto. She quickly stood walked to her guitar case and placed her guitar insdie, she carried it to the side of the gazebo and slipped it under the bench, being to lazy to take it with her when she got breakfast. She jogged down the steps and ontothe main path, the back door coming into veiw, she slipped in and jogged down the hal towards the cafe.

[awh, *pats*]

Shane sighed again and sat up, pulling The guitar strap over his head, he positioned in in front of his Chest and started tuning the Strings.
A Few minutes later, he raised his arm and looked at his watch. He rolled his eyes as just then his stomach growled.
"Eh.. i can wait" He said to himself and started playing.

As Maureen was waiting in line for some pizza. Unknown to her, someone was walking by the gazebo, it was a boy who had been wathing Shane and her, he hated her for some reason, well, actually he had no reason, he just hated her. He saw where she had put her guitar and her rushed forward. Grabbing it and pulled it out from under the bench, her ran down the stairs and into the bushes, he kept running untill he was in the feilds, he saw a small pond and dumped the guitar case with the guitar in it, into the pond. The guitar case wasn't waterproof so water immediatly began to leak through and into the case. He smiled, satisfied, and walked away.

Shane stopped playing when he saw someone Running from the Gazebo and into the Bushes, noticing he was holding a guitar case that looked a lot like Maureen's, Shane stood up and pulled his Guitar off his chest, walking a little closer to the window, he raised an eyebrow and watched him.
He Widened his eyes when He saw him Throw the Guitar into the Pond. "Ah geez.." Shane said to himself and Ran out his Dorm door, leaving it open.

Maureen got a pizza and walked out of the cafe, holding it with a napkin in her right hand, she bit into it and smiled, she absolutely loved pizza. She jogged back down the hall towards the back door again, wondering if she could find that small lake everyone in the cafe had been talking about, no one had found it yet, it was said to be spooky and eerie, and was somewhere on the property of Oak Ridge academy.

Shane ran out the Dorm Hall door and looked back and forth, running in a Jog. He spotted the Guy leaving where the pond was and ran up in front of him, stopping. "Can I ask why you just threw her Guitar in the pond??" He asked with a scowl.

"Her?" He pretened to look confused. "Oh this is an old guitar of mine. I didn't need it anymore." he lied then pushed Shane out of the way and walked on, soon walking into the main building.

Maureen walked out of the main building and looked around, she walked to the gazebo and walked up the steps, she looked under the bench and bit her lip when her guitar wasn't there. "Oh Poo." She mumbled and looked around her a look of panic taking over her expression.
