I sat, there, silence engulfing me, leaving me alone with my thoughts. I didn't want to think about him. But I did, no matter how hard I tried. Gosh, what was wrong with me. I had gotten what I wanted, and now I wished for it all to go back to the way it was. I then heard footsteps, they were light and graceful sounding. My eyes sort of widened, and I lifted my gaze, seeing the person that I had thought about all week. A smile replaced the sad look on my face and I jumped up. Standing awkwardly and not knowing what to do. I lifted my hand and waved back, biting my lip a bit.. I felt horrible for what I had done.. Yet I was scared..., he craved my blood. I frowned a little then pushed it away and smiled once again, walking a few steps forward.

More than relieved to see that she was going to neither run away, or tell him to go away.. Edward felt relief wash over him. A better feeling than he'd felt since the last time he'd seen her.
"Hello," Was all he really could manage to say, feeling slightly awkward as he took the last few steps toward her, finally stopping once about six feet in front of her.

"Hey.."I managed to say, a bigger smile pulling across my lips.. "I'm so........so... Sorry about last time.. I ... just.. really sorry.." I apologized and looked down, I felt like a jerk for some reason, he had tried to explain, he was nice about it.. I had asked him to go away, and leave me alone.. I felt bad about that.. But he wasn't mad, and that surprised me.

Edward smiled softly as he listened to her. After hearing sorry the first time, he cut her off. "Don't be sorry. You took it better than most would." He said graciously, nodding his head a bit in gratitude. "i'm just glad to see you.. How are you?" He felt compelled to ask, seeing's how he couldn't read her mind to simply hear how she was. He glanced over his shoulder for a moment to make sure Emmet actually had left and wasn't watching secretly. He could hear what Emmet was thinking, and considering he was thinking about how he was going to take down the Grizzly when he finds it.. Edward assumed he wasn't watching. He turned his head again to face Hero, and waiting patiently for a reply.

I shrugged. "Others know?" I asked curiously. Then I nodded a little. "Ehhh... I wasn't that good a few minutes ago.. but now I really don't know how to explain!!" I laughed a little. "What about you?" I noticed how he looked behind him. "Waiting for someone?" I asked curiously titling me head.

(I'm think drama... DUDEE a girl from school.. should like show upp.. we didn't get much drama in on this scene... so like...... xDDD)

Edward shook his head, making a 'tsk tsk' sound teasingly. "No, I said would." He corrected her jokingly, then looked back over his shoulder one more time. "Waiting for someone to leave." He replied, looking back at her once again. "It's my brother, Emmet. He was with me." He added in. "And, I am very glad to hear that you're better now." He answered, pretending to be oblivious to her hinting he was the reason she was better. "I am doing okay. It hasn't been the best week, but I can already feel it getting brighter." He flashed a smile at her, his eyes no longer very bright, but a duller, darker golden. It'd been too long since he and his family last ate. Hence the reason they were going hunting.

I laughed. "Ahhh, your brother.." I smiled.. watching him, his eyes were a little darker, he was hungry, you could tell but his facial features that he was in need of 'food'. I felt myself blush as he mentioned he was feeling brighter now. "Oh really.. and why is that?" I questioned a little curious.. I shifted my weight and watched as a small bird fluttered by chirping a happy tune, I smiled and then heard as a few other birds joined in. I yawned a little, I hadn't rested much the night before, or the nights before that for that matter.. I was a little tired.

Edward nodded, smiling brightly. "Mostly because I know you don't want to.. Oh, I don't know.. Drive a stake through my heart. Or peg me with garlic." He joked light-heartedly, tucking his hands deeper into his jean pockets. [Short. :P]

I laughed, then cringed at his words. "NEVER!" I found myself exclaim all at once, a mad look on my face to think that anyone would want to do that to these people.. Vampires, but still PEOPLE! I shook my head and mumbled a few things about how heartless people were.

Edward shook his head back and forth, laughing quietly at her reaction. "No, no.. They're just Myths, Hero.. I don't shy away from vegetables. Or stakes. Or crosses." He chuckled heavily, looking into her eyes. "It takes much more than that to hurt one of us." He said matter-of-factly, his laughing beginning to subside slowly as he watched her, still smiling. "But your trust in cinematography, plays and old stories is amusing." He added in half-jokingly.

"Oh.. How the heck am I supposed to know?!!" I demanded with laughter in my voice. "I never studied vampires before in my life! I just read a few stories but they were stupid, and childish!" I laughed and playfully poked his arm. I smiled up at him. I was glad he was talking to me.. Glad I was talking to him.. Also extremely happy that he wasn't mad or anything and it was all normal again. I blushed a tiny bit and looked down. "I'm very trusting when someone I trust says something to me!" I defended.

Edward smiled at her, lifting a single eyebrow as he heard her last words. Trust?
"You have just discovered that I am a monster... Blood drinker, most dangerous predator in the whole balance of nature... And you trust me?" He repeated with a fading smile, looking at her with a very surprised expression. "Needless to say, I'm a little surprised." He added, the smile beginning to return to his face.

"Well.. you haven't drank my blood yet have you? If you hadn't really cared about me you would have already..and if you didn't only drink animals..." I added the last part as I remembered our previous conversation. I nodded a little and looked away, smiling to myself.

Edward nodded slightly. "You have a good point." He smiled, glancing back behind him for a moment, and then back at her again. "Would you like to go for a walk on that trail now? Maybe I can better explain things to you.." He smiled, motioning toward the trail they walked on one long week ago.

I nodded, smiling brightly. "Yes! This time I won't walk off... Promise!" I said and smiled brightly as I began to walk towards the path, looking back at him. "Slowpoke!" I teased, knowing he wasn't slow at all! I ran my hand through my hair and winced as I came to a few knots. I stifled another small yawn and smiled.

Edward chuckled. "Good to know," He answered, then jogged a bit to catch up with her. Once he was at her side, he slowed down and glanced around. "So," He turned his head to face her, tucking his hands into his pockets. "It's your day to ask the questions. Fire away." He playfully said, furrowing his eyebrows.

I smiled and looked thoughtful a moment.. "So how old are you... not appearance wise..Age wise?!" I questioned, well vampires were supposed to be old weren't they? In the books I read some were as old as 100.. or more years.. but then again those stories are supposed to be 'myths' and vampires aren't supposed to be real.. But if they weren't who came up with the idea of vampires? I looked puzzled as I thought that over.

"Well, I was born in 1901, In Chicago, Illinois. So, technically speaking, I am a hundred and nine years old.." Edward replied casually, keeping his hands tucked inside his pockets. He turned a curious gaze to Hero, amusement showing clearly on his face. He waited patiently for her reaction, if she even would have one that was worth paying attention to.

My eyes widened and I averted my gaze to his face. "Are you SERIOUS?!"! I demanded a little shocked, a hundred and nine years old?! That was OLD! I then curled my mouth up into a small smile. "You're an old fart!!" I said and laughed teasingly.

Edward barked in laughter. "Please," He said, looking at her with lifted eyebrows. "I am considered young to many of my own kind. Tell that to them." He chuckled, continuing to walk along the cluttered trail. "Next question? That doesn't include my age?" He looked ahead, a wide grin on his face.

I laughed and playfully bumped into him, LIGHTLY, for fear of hurting myself, because he was so dang hard. I then thought a moment, "Hmmm... what was it like in 1901?" I asked genuinely curious. "I know.. lame question, but you're about the only person still alive from that year!" I smiled and looked up at him.

"And you're using the word person lightly, I assume?" Edward smirked, then thought about her question for a moment. "I can't be sure." He honestly would say after a few moments. "My memory is so vague from my life before.. This. It's all really just a blur to me, now. That would be a question much more suited for Carlisle." He added in, now resting his hands behind his back.

"Yeah.. you're the ONLY person alive from that time!" I laughed gently and smiled, "Ahhhh. I guess I will have to ask him then.." I smiled and shrugged.. "Okay, I'm out of lame questions to ask.." I said a little defeated. When I wanted to ask, and had questions to ask, I couldn't. And when I could ask, I didn't remember any good questions.

Edward frowned. "Oh, come on... An entire week to ask questions and that's all you can come up with?" He asked with a tone, giving her a small smile. "You're even less creative than I thought!" He lightly teased with a grin, looking ahead once again.

"Oh shut up!" I said and frowned a little. "I'm less creative when I'm actually allowed to ask questions.." I admitted and laughed a little. "But other than that, I am quite creative when I' not allowed to ask..." I smiled and looked at him. "Do you have any questions?!"
